Heritage House and Residential High Rise
West 13th Ave, Vancouver, BC (Urban Design Architecture)
A heritage house and a residential high-rise building complex. The high-rise consists of a concrete framed structure, constructed over a below-grade reinforced concrete parking garage. The exterior consists of aluminum frame windows and doors and architectural concrete walls. The building also includes low slope SBS roofs. The heritage house restoration consisted of re-roofing the cedar shake pitched roof, replacing the existing siding with new rain-screen siding, and more. Sam Daibess, P.Eng., provided building enclosure services while with another firm.
